Trinity Kids

Welcome, Trinity Church parents, guardians, and guests! We love children at Trinity Church, and we welcome new families with kids of all ages. Due to the precautionary measures surrounding the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are not currently running Sunday morning Trinity Kids programs.

We are in a strange season with our kids' schools closed, many of us isolated at home, and connecting with our church community virtually. The Vision for Trinity Kids has always been to focus on HEARTS:

Hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ each week

Engaging, phase-appropriate Bible lessons & activities

Applying faith

Relationships that transform lives

Training, involving, and equipping parents to disciple their kids at home

Serving the community and the world

*We encourage parents to disciple their kids at home and will provide resources and recommendations for you.

*We will send weekly Sunday School lessons you can do at home. To be included in our group email list, email Julia at childrensminsitry@trinityefc.com.

*The Elementary Kids Message will meet on Zoom twice a month, from 8:30-8:50 am, to continue to foster relationships and growth.

*Parents, please continue to connect with each other virtually and encourage one another! Search for our Facebook group, Trinity Parents' Corner, today!

We are in this together, even from a distance, because the Holy Spirit unites us and gives us strength.

Sincerely in Christ,

Julia Culbertson

Sunday School

9:00 am - 10:10 am

Toddlers through 6th grade

Our Sunday School program runs September-June.

In Sunday School, kids will be grouped by age in classes led by committed and trained adults and teen volunteers from Trinity Church. There will be a time of worship, an engaging Bible lesson with a Gospel focus, fun activities, games, and crafts to reinforce the theme of the week. Plus, we provide bonus materials to help parents disciple their kids at home. Toddlers - Kindergarten classes use the First Look curriculum and 1st - 6th Grade classes use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. Throughout the year the kids will be invited to participate in service projects like Operation Christmas Child and a food drive.

Nursery

10:30 am - 11:35 am

0-2 yrs: Room 3
3-4 yrs: Room 1

During our worship service, we offer Nursery care for newborns - 4 years old in fully-equipped preschool classrooms. It is our joy to provide care for your children! Our electronic check-in system allows for secure drop-off and pick-up of the children, volunteer identification, and attention to allergy/medical alerts. We use the Remind text alert app in case your child needs your attention during the service. To sign-up for Remind, text @nurseryrm3 to 81010 for 0-2 year olds, and text @nurseryrm1 for 3-4 year olds. We use the First Look curriculum in our Nursery Ministry.

Kids Message

Approximately 10:50 am - 11:35 pm, 2nd and 4th Sundays each month

PreK-6th Grade

We welcome children of any age in our worship service, and also offer Kids Message as an option for families. There is a PreK-K Kids Message every Sunday, and 1st-6th graders meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. The children worship with their families at the beginning of the service, and can meet their teachers in the foyer during the Announcements. Parents pick up their children from the classroom/office wing once the Worship Service is over.

The PreK-K class uses the First Look curriculum, and 1st-6th graders use the New City Catechism for Kids curriculum.
