Preschool Staff

Sharon Culbertson - Preschool Director

Trinity Community Preschool is directed by Sharon Culbertson, a member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church. Sharon has over twenty six years experience teaching preschool and has directed Trinity Community Preschool for 16 years. She has an Associate's degree in Child Development, a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies, is a state certified head teacher for children ages 0-5 years and has earned the CT Director's Credential for Directors of Early Childhood Educational Programs. Sharon has raised 4 children (1 girl & 3 boys) who are all grown and married now. She has 7 grandchildren. Sharon is also an equestrian volunteer at a Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center and assists young students with disabilities.  

Sharon is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, CT Childcare Association, and The Association of Christian Schools International and Early Educators.

Teachers employed by the preschool are qualified with experience, college credits or degrees and certification in Early Childhood or a related field.
